Effective March 25, the Campus-to-Campus bus service is suspended until further notice. There is no higher priority to Cornell University Transportation and Delivery Services than the safety and well-being of our customers and employees. We value your patronage and appreciate your patience while we adjust to the realities of this public health issue. If this suspension causes hardship for Cornell University mission-critical travel, please contact us at 607-254-8747. Visit c2cbus.com for further service updates and notifications.
Yes, as long as you remain a registered student, you will have TCAT access through August 31, 2020. Student bus access information can be found at gettingaround.cornell.edu.
TCAT has announced adjustments to service in response to COVID-19 and a decrease in ridership. Please visit TCAT’s website for the most up-to-date information on routes.
You can keep your parking permit until it expires on August 31, 2020. However, effective Sunday, March 22, only students who have permission to remain in on-campus housing and essential personnel are allowed on campus.
After careful consideration and financial evaluation, Cornell has determined that it is not possible to suspend payroll installment payments for permit holders at this time. Campus parking permits provide the university with indispensable revenue needed for salaries, TCAT payments and debt payments.
Faculty and staff permit holders have the options of returning their parking permit by May 15 in order to stop payroll installments, or receiving a pro-rated refund if they paid in full at the time of purchase.
Transportation Services will provide employees a grace period of one month to re-apply for their permit area once general parking rules are back in effect. Payroll installments for the new permit year will begin no earlier than August 2020.
If you wish to proceed with a return, mail your permit to:
